This T28 Trojan trainer aircraft
has been outfitted with specially modified underwing
fuel pods for forward and rearward looking cameras.
All cabling is routed through the wing structure to
the rear of the cockpit. The aerial cinematographer
controls camera functions remotely. With the use of
the Arri
435 the
system has the added functionality of that camera.
There is also the capability to mount a third camera
at the rear cockpit position. This camera is mounted
to a normal fluid head to allow the aerial cinematographer
flexibility for operating the shot.

Specifications
For
general reference only.
The following specifications are
for the T28 Trojan.
They do not consider the altered
weight-and-balance characteristics
or resulting restrictions on inflight
performance with installed camera
mounting systems.
This T28 is the only one of its kind and
will have to be ferried to the shooting location
for use.
The cockpit can only accommodate the pilot
and aerial cinematographer during a mission.
However, video assist playback is available
for reviewing the footage.
