Advanced Camera Systems Gyromaster Mount

The Gyromaster®, newest mount from Advanced Camera (formerly Continental Camera), departs from door mount conventions with it's inverted handgrip yoke. This unique configuration attempts to impart less unwanted motion to the mount by removing the operator's eye from the eyepiece and placing his hands closer to the camera's center of gravity. Viewing is via an attached B&W monitor. The Gyromaster comes standard with 3 gyros: 2-KS-8s on the camera plate and a KS-8 or KS-12 on the counterweight bucket. Advanced Camera currently reports that they are able to use longer lenses than used on their previous mounts.
