Coptervision

Worth mentioning in this section are remote controlled drones designed for aerial cinematography. Coptervision is one such device. It features a gyro-stabilized camera system capable of 35mm and Super 35 or 16mm and Super 16. Three CCD digital cameras can be affixed for video applications.

It's important to note the potential safety issues with this type of system. The helicopter will be flown remotely within close proximity to crew and actors and should only be operated by a skilled pilot. Coptervision provides this individual.

The camera itself is operated remotely with viewing provided via microwave broadcast transmitters.

Wind will be even more of an influence with this miniature aircraft so plan carefully with the vendor on shooting criteria to avoid surprises.
